As the Managing Director of Psychology Health Solutions, Mr. Shahrokhnia is responsible for overseeing the financial, IT, marketing and administrative functions of the clinic as well as ensuring Psychology Health Solutions’ mission statement and values are achieved in the highest standards. Believing that every individual possesses a unique set of personal skills and resources, Mr. Shahrokhnia draws on a variety of treatment approaches to tailor therapy so as to best suit the needs of his patients.
Education
Mr Shahrokhnia obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. He also has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler Professional School of Psychology. He is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Areas of practice
Mr. Shahrokhnia’s clinical background boasts extensive rehabilitation and clinical work with adults, adolescents, couples and families. He is also experienced in providing assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Mr. Stotts works to meet clients where they are and help them to unravel psychological problems that are negatively impacting their lives. He has a diverse clinical background, including experience in addictions and recovery, couples counseling, and traumatic brain injury (TBI). He has worked with individuals, couples, and groups to help people deal with, and overcome, psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, paraphilias, and addictions.

Mr. Kelvin Mutter has been a psychotherapist since 1995. Mr. Mutter’s work in community counselling agencies and in private practice has included the assessment and treatment of individuals, couples and families at all stages of the life cycle. His professional experience also includes providing services to a culturally and spiritually diverse population. Mr. Mutter is experienced in the provision of psychotherapy interventions for a range of concerns such as  anxiety and depression, chronic health concerns, substance abuse, relational problems, and trauma. His services include psychosocial assessments of individual, couple, and family functioning, assessing for relational violence, crisis and suicide risk assessments.

Mr. Mutter is experienced using client-focused, brief counselling models such as Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy that highlight client competency and support the client’s efforts to create change. Mr. Mutter’s work with trauma survivors, couple problems, and family problems is informed by Attachment Theory and Emotionally-Focused Therapy.

Mr. Mutter has received extensive training as a couple and family therapist and is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (RMFT) and Supervisor Consultant through the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT). Mr. Mutter has also been trained as a psycho-spiritual therapist and is a Certified Psycho-Spiritual Therapist Supervisor-Educator through the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). Mehdi holds a Ph.D. in philosophy. He is now enrolled in the last semester of an M.A. program in counselling psychology. He has also finished a two-year certificate in Trauma and Addiction Recovery Studies. He is a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario (CRPO).
