Ilana Sutherland is a qualifying registered psychotherapist, currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (expected completion Spring 2026).

Ilana Sutherland is deeply committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care to individuals and families navigating complex life challenges. Her practice is grounded in the principles of respect, empowerment, cultural humility, and a strengths-based approach.

Throughout her career, Ilana has worked extensively with marginalized and vulnerable populations, including Indigenous women and children, survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking, and individuals experiencing concurrent disorders. She recognizes the profound impact of trauma, systemic oppression, and social inequities on mental health and well-being. Her work is informed by a commitment to social justice, advocacy, and the integration of Indigenous healing practices and frameworks.
